IJV is headed by Rachel Morrish, who has worked extensively within the jewellery trade for 15 years. She has worked within auction houses, valuation companies, as well as design and manufacturing of jewellery. Rachel has a degree in Fine Art Valuation, is a Fellow of the Gemmological Association of Great Britain, and holds both FGA and DGA qualifications.

Rachel is also a member of two external Examination Boards, one for a High Street multiple retailer and the other for a university.
