	Valuation
	In order to arrange a valuation simply contact us via email info@ijvaluations.com or call us on 0121 515 4710. We will then arrange for you to either send us your item, using the Royal Mail, or it can be dropped off to our offices, or under special circumstances a collection can be made. Once we receive the item, we will value and photograph it and it will be returned to you within 48 hours (this is dependent on day of receipt of the item). You can then take out the appropriate insurance.
	Jewellery valuations charges We simply charge a flat rate for your valuations, rather than a percentage of the total estimated value, so you will know exactly how much your valuation will cost prior to having it done. £45 for the first item and £25 for each additional item. We also offer a Home Service; this is ideal if you have a number of items to be valued or high value items you do not want to send away. We can arrange for one of our expert valuers to come to your home or bank, where your items will be valued on site. The basic cost of this service is the same as for our standard valuations; £45 for the first item and £25 for each additional item, plus £100 per hour to cover travelling time. Please contact us to discuss this service further. If you have antiques, furniture and collectibles these can also be valued by IJV, and bespoke advice can be given if you wish to sell any items.
